ABOUT
The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts in Deer Lake Park is surrounded by cultural and community amenities. The 25,500 sqft Art Centre augments and unifies the existing natural and cultural "park." The project contains a number of spatially different public spaces - internally and externally. The interior public spaces of the Atrium and the Gallery separate the building into three pavilions for Music, Dance and Theatre Arts; and provide public spaces between for gathering. The exterior spaces: the Plaza, the Terrace and the Promenade connect the building with the other community.
