ODESSA BOEHM
Odessa enjoys creating joyful, distinctive spaces that engage both community and the natural environment holistically. With a Master of Architecture from UBC, a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Carleton University, and a Diploma in Architectural Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, she brings a blend of both technical knowledge and creative vision to every project she works on.
Being of mixed ancestry and part Cree on her mother’s side, she cares deeply about fostering and co-creating inspiring Indigenous spaces, and playing an active role in reclaiming and re-establishing Indigenous voices and expression within the design field. She approaches design as a co-creative practice by creating meaningful spaces grounded in land-based sensitivity and community engagement.
Through her work, she advocates for architecture as a powerful tool for community building, cultural resilience, and shaping a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future.
