Located at the top of a rocky rise overlooking Montague Harbour and Trincomali Channel - at eye level with eagles in flight, this post & beam house has been designed to maximize access to the spectacular views while nestling into the site. The layout of the 3,500 sqft house functions well for a family of three and for overnight guests of twelve or more.
Local Galiano artisans were employed to craft the fireplace from local stone, utilize an Arbutus tree salvaged from the clearing as the house king post, and use Fir from the site for flooring, and mantle pieces.
