MARIUS HEXAN

Marius joins the UAA team as an Intern Architect AIBC. He received his architectural bachelor’s degree from McGill University, followed by his master’s from the University of Waterloo. His previous professional and educational experience are reinforced by a Civil Engineering background which have become an invaluable asset for his architectural career.

Marius’ passions were ultimately woven together in his masters’ thesis that focused on tackling housing within Vancouver. His thesis investigated and questioned concepts of land tenure models, the financialization of housing, and community empowerment. As such, Marius’ fundamental goal is to empower communities with the ability to change the city more after their heart’s desire.

Marius is also an avid outdoorsman and rock climber, both of which activities he strives to undertake with the utmost respect, appreciation, and conservation of our one and only planet.
