KarolLine Turcato

Karolline emigrated from Brazil in 2015. She currently lives and works in Metro Vancouver and thanks the Musqueam/xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Squamish/Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Tsleil-Waututh/Sel̓íl̓witulh for allowing her to live on their territories as an uninvited guest.

Karolline joins the UAA team as Senior Intern Architect. Coming from a family of builders architecture has always been her dream career. She is a registered architect in her home country where she worked on several residential projects from concept design to final occupancy.
Karolline had her academic qualifications certified by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board, and she is currently working on becoming a Registered Architect via the Internship Program AIBC.

Karolline believes in her role as an architect to achieve change with our built environment, through design for diversity, inclusion and a thoughtful process to how we can positively impact our communities to be better and to do better.
