Alexander has joined the UAA as an Architectural Designer. While completing his B.A in Architectural Design at the University of Toronto, Alexander first gained experience working in a small practice that focussed on high density residential structures throughout Ontario.
Following this, he moved over to western Canada to pursue his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Calgary, working with the university on workshops, installations and algorithmic modelling. During his degree, Alexander was hired as a member of the research team of the Laboratory for Integrative Design (LID), which as a team designed a wide range of projects to connect current design exploration with the rest of the community. During this time, he acquired a fascination in developing engaging designs to explore lighting, culture, interaction and materiality and further push the architectural scope. He is excited to join the UAA team, and further hone his skills both in design and project realization.
